This sucks, I spent frustrating minutes just to connect to the internet to go to the freewebsforums, only to find out i can't log in because of:

    A top-down shooter meant to be an action/arcade game.  No story, jst shootin the enemy.  Enemy has bsaic AI, simply to just find you and kill you you eanr cahs to unlock stages, buy a secondary attachment and upgrade your mech.

Rules for the comp:
1)The game must be related to halloween, wether horror or whatev.
2)For this comp, you can use any resources.
3)You must use either Game Maker or RPG Maker for this one.  GM users must upload their executables in yoyogames, .gm6 won't work for vista.
if you have .gm7, a zip file will be fine.  If you need certain files in the game, add them to the game, and just upload the game to yoyogames and when it is played, the files will be sent to the desktop.
4)Game must have three levels.  If it is an RPG, it must have at least 1 boss battle.

Prize - Serial Id for 3ds max 9 that will last for only one year.

since this is the first and i don't have alot of members yet...the submissions will last til november 15.
Don't worry about the votes, they will be decided by guests and other ordinary people, so you'll have to improve on your game's gameplay and visual styles.

Game Reviewers just do what their names says, review games.  If you made a game, post in Submit Game topic and the game reviewers will look through your game and review them.

And it has to be a game that i know about, so i can tell how honest you are and how well you review a game, do you paritally review or do  a full one?

If you use Game Maker, I advise you to host your games in yoyogames.com so users in vista can still play your GM6 executables.  Yoyogames player will allow this, since GM6 executables won't work on vista.

You may choose to upload your files here if they aren't too big and if this forum will let you   Please upload them in .zip files.  You may post up to 1 files per post, 100mb filesize limit for each, and 100mb limit total.
If you want screenshots, create your own gallery for them and post the link to that gallery.
